Bush will not compromise on immigration bill

June 2, 2006 on 1:26 pm | In Political Powers |

Bush says he wants compromise but in reality he will not copromise.

He is steadfast that any bill must include

  1. Temporary Worker Program for illegals
  2. Opportunity for Citizenship for illegals

Typical Bush tactic ask others to “compromise” then lay out uncomprising terms. Nice try but just saying the words compromise does not equal a true compromise. On which points is he willing to compromise? My guess would be border security & enforcement. This issue will not go away and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

  1. Bush “thinks” his position is “middle ground”. He says compromise but really means see things his way. He will not compromise, so why should anyone else. No Deal.
